Physical media ftw!!
I've been collecting CDs since I was little. They never really
ran out of style for me. I like ripping them, burning them, and
looking at the physical booklets that come with them. In fact, I
like to scan the artwork for my personal digital music collection
since sometimes providers get lazy when giving artwork to services
like Apple Music (e.g...).
I actually wasn't into music much in my younger days, despite owning CDs. It wasn't until about 2008 that I really started getting into it when I was given an iPod Nano for Christmas. Guitar Hero, Rock Band, and Beatmania IIDX also gave me exposure to some good music. In late 2023, I essentially "restarted" my collection. And I started collecting only Japanese CDs (with a few exceptions). Most of them are used but kept in very good condition. I notice that anime soundtracks have the Obi strip intact more often than other types of albums I collect. The collection, 2023 and onward, is what I'm sharing on this page. I love listening to the CDs standalone. But I also rip them into FLAC/ALAC and put them on my modded 1 TB iPod Classic 5.5th Gen to listen to on-the-go. As a last resort, I have a Sony Xperia 1 V, which happens to have a headphone jack and microSD card slot. And I listen to music via Poweramp. My car supports iPod, CD, and Bluetooth playback!! Below is my collection. It might be missing a few here and there. I am not including digital-only releases. Only CDs. If you have me added on Discord, you may see me listening to more than just these songs on iTunes. CD Catalogue
