About BMS
>> Information

I am a music composer and a fan of beatmaniaIIDX. As such, the BMS (Be-Music Source) format was quite interesting to me. I would play songs in Lunatic Rave 2, Bemuse, etc. It's really fun and rewarding. But I wanted to get in on the fun too. So I took some of my songs and BMS-ified them. That's what this page is about.

Most, if not all, beatmaniaIIDX songs run for about 2 minutes. My songs usually do not obey that restriction. I call this "Long BMS". You get the full song. Really, this page is just an excuse to put ZONE and Hyperspace out there for people to try and play (if you dare). But in my archives there are 2 other songs as well which were charted around 2015-2016. That makes these charts around 10+ years old!

Here are downloads to the BMS songs I have created. You may also view videos previewing the charts. The dates reflect when the keysounds and charts were created, not the actual song composition itself.

ZONE
2016/04/28
Techno
Description
The longest and most difficult BMS song I wrote. It's length and 3624 note count makes it a decent challenge to Full Combo. This is based on an earlier mix, featuring a different ticking sound.

Ambient Rock
Description
Simple song. Drum parts can be confusing in the second half of the song.
Hyperspace

Hyper Slow Rave
Description
Deliberately made to be hell in the second half of the song. Also the only song with an "Insane" difficulty chart. Only 22 keysounds.

Dark Rock
Description
The first song in the second album I ever created, "Concept of Mind". I may revisit this song in the future and make harder charts for it.
